This 12 year old blended whiskey was named after the year in which the original Jameson Distillery was founded. Information is difficult to find in terms of the whiskey used although there is a good chance that some old stock from the original Bow Street Distillery has been used even though the new Midleton distillery was also producing distillate at this time.
It is a difficult bottle to come across now and can only be purchased at auction.
