A unique collaboration that brings together two innately Irish brands, Roe & Co Irish Whiskey and Killahora Orchards, in an experiment for the senses; as casks, swapped for nearly one year, created two delicious new liquids with vibrant layers of flavour.
TASTING NOTES FOR EACH:
Roe & Killahora Curators 0.2 - (46% abv): Irish Whiskey is an intriguing blend which draws you in to reveal exquisitely luscious aromas and flavours. Notes of crisp green orchard fruits are perfectly enhanced by soft and mellow butterscotch. Freshly baked Tarte Tatin, with its buttery pastry, shines through, culminating in a balanced finish of lingering floral notes with gentle spice.
Pom'O Killahora Apple Aperitif - (18% abv): the apéritif has an alluring nose of butterscotch, warm toffee apples with cloves and strawberries which is married beautifully with notes of elderflower and fennel. On the palate it finishes with indulgent notes of macerated cherries, orange peel and creamy malt.
